Donating Hair for a Good Cause

On May 7, 2026, the FÜNF HÖFE will serve as the venue for one of Germany’s largest hair donation campaigns: the “Gong 96.3 Rapunzel Challenge – Cut Your Hair for a Good Cause.” Inspired by the exhibition “HAIR. STORIES OF POWER AND PASSION” at the Kunsthalle München, the theme of hair is all about solidarity and social engagement.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., women and men can donate their hair on the plaza. Requirements: hair must be at least 30 centimeters long and untreated.

The donated hair will be professionally cut on-site by hairstylist Stefan M. Pauli and the team from SALONPAULI, and then processed by the Federal Association of Hair Replacement Specialists (BVZ) into human hair wigs for people experiencing hair loss due to illness.

Registration must be done in advance via Radio Gong 96.3.
