Kunsthalle München – Program for the current exhibition

Afterwork at the Kunsthalle – culture, drinks & DJ sounds

Every third Wednesday of the month, the Kunsthalle München is transformed into a stylish afterwork hotspot. Visitors have the opportunity to experience the current exhibition “Civilization: How we live today” until 10 pm – ideal for anyone who wants to combine art enjoyment and after-work flair.

Afterwards, Café Theatiner 8 invites you to relax to the sounds of DJ Alkalino. Another highlight: the big raffle that accompanies every after-work evening – with attractive prizes and surprises.

Guided tours & tickets:

Visits are possible with a regular exhibition ticket, which is available both online and on site at the ticket office. If you would like to delve even deeper into the exhibition, you can take part in special after-work tours in German. Tickets for the guided tours can also be purchased online or on site.

Admission to the café is free:

Even those not visiting the exhibition are welcome: Theatiner 8 is free to enter – perfect for an after-work drink in a special ambience.

Summer program for young explorers

Kunsthalle München also has a special vacation offer for young art fans in August:

Exciting children’s tours of the exhibition take place on three dates – 6, 13 and 20 August, all at 3 pm.

For whom?

Children aged 6 to 12 can look forward to a child-friendly and interactive introduction to the world of photography and civilization.
