Fortuny is a Venetian company founded in 1984 to preserve and develop the legacy of the visionary artist and inventor Mariano Fortuny. Guided by the idea that light is a malleable material, much like fabric, Fortuny designs objects and garments that bring atmosphere, memory, and art into contemporary life.

Lighting

Fortuny lamps are icons of design and emotion. Each piece is handcrafted in Italy and creates a warm, elegant atmosphere. Signature models include the dramatic Scheherazade, inspired by Oriental lanterns; the flowing, poetic Scudo Saraceno; and the Studio 1907, inspired by early 20th-century experiments with reflected and diffused light. Fortuny lighting illuminates hotels, villas, and private homes around the world.

Fashion and Accessories

At the heart of Fortuny’s fashion philosophy lies the Delphos dress, a masterpiece of silk pleating crafted using a unique, closely guarded process. The collection features elegant kimonos, scarves, turbans, and artistic bags made from fine silk and hand-printed velvet, inspired by the Orient, the Renaissance, and Art Nouveau. Each piece is created with a deep respect for tradition and quality.
