New exhibition: “Viktor&Rolf. Fashion Statements”

Discover the fascinating world of Viktor&Rolf at the first major retrospective in Germany. From 23 February to 6 October 2024, Kunsthalle München will be presenting over 100 bold creations by the Dutch designer duo.

“Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Statement” at Kunsthalle at FÜNF HÖFE

Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have been exploring the boundaries between couture and art for over 30 years. Their masterpieces have been worn by stars such as Madonna and Lady Gaga and staged in ballet productions.

Experience a spectacular production in which many pioneering pieces are presented to the public for the first time. In addition to garments, you can expect to see videos, sketches and handmade porcelain dolls dressed in the designers’ iconic creations.

Unique & spectacular: couture and art

Discover works by renowned photo artists such as Andreas Gursky, Ellen von Unwerth and Herb Ritts, which deepen the fascination for Viktor&Rolf’s work.

“Viktor&Rolf. Fashion Statements” was developed in collaboration with Thierry-Maxime Loriot, who has already created successful shows such as “Jean Paul Gaultier. From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk”. Thierry-Maxime has also collaborated with Maison Viktor&Rolf and L’Oréal Luxe for the exhibition.
