Luis Trenker – A Name, a Legend.

The Luis Trenker brand was founded in Bolzano in 1995 by brothers Michi and Hansjörg Klemera and named after the famous Val Gardena mountaineer and film pioneer: a name that has become a legend. His multifaceted personality and unique style remain among the most important sources of inspiration for the design team behind Luis Trenker. The brand defies categorization and has instead created its own category: Alpine Lifestyle. A term that perfectly captures the idea of combining alpine charm with international sophistication.

For the Luis Trenker brand, the term “Slow Fashion” is not just a buzzword, but a fundamental principle. Sustainable thinking begins right at the design stage: Instead of chasing fleeting trends, Luis Trenker focuses on a timeless collection, durable materials, high quality, and mindful production under fair conditions. The collections are manufactured almost exclusively in Europe, particularly in collaboration with reliable partners in Italy, Portugal, and Romania. Many garments are produced in small workshops, while shoes are handcrafted in Italy. In this way, fashion-forward design is combined with a sense of responsibility toward people, resources, and nature.
